TINM

There Is No Mountain is Kali Giaritta and Matt Harmon making a lot of noise as a duo.  Kali and Matt play an intricate, turn-on-a-dime brand of psychedelic pop, with audible influences ranging from ancient folk to modern americana, world music to doom.  They walk these lines using a surprisingly small stage setup - acoustic guitar running through distortions and other effects along with a couple standing drums and shakers - and tie everything together with almost-constant vocal harmony.

TINM has been touring around the country from their home base in Portland, OR for the last several years, and just released their sophomore album LUNA through ORG Music in early 2016.  Portland's Willamette Week called LUNA "experimental and virtuosic, adept at pairing slow-burning melodies with moments of spare layering and percussion more in line with that of world music than rock ‘n’ roll", while Independent Music News described the band as specializing "in a charming brand of psych-pop that is often dancey and always catchy, like a matured mix of the Dirty Projector’s artsy weirdness and oddball vocal harmonies with the barebones instrumentation of Beat Happening.”
